Primary Instructor/SME

Currently working in long term care as a Nationally Certified Activity Director, Betty is a source of unlimited, current resources. She will instruct students regarding the care planning and assessment process as well as supply a current list of interventions and resources students will use again and again in their work with the elderly. Betty has a B.S. from Missouri State University in Recreation and Leisure Studies and is certified as a Therapeutic Recreational Specialist. She received her National Certification as an Activity Director by the NCCAP and remains up to date regarding certification requirements and resources.
