Welcome to a fantastic opportunity that combines English instruction with unique recreational and academic experiences in a safe and secure environment! Designed for young people, ages 9-14, this customized summer program is available in 2-week, 3-week or 4-week sessions during the months of June and July for groups of 10 or more.

Mornings - English Language Institute

In the mornings, participants take English classes, taught by English language professionals. Classes focus on improving spoken English as participants gain confidence and have fun!

Classes offered may include:

• Listening/Conversation
• English Through Computers
• Video English
• Journal Writing

Afternoons - Camp Bear

• American Culture

• English Games

• Pronunciation

• Fun with Grammar

In the afternoons, participants join American students at Missouri State University’s Camp Bear. Campers will choose from classes based on a variety of themes and participate in supervised recreation activities. Some of the classes to choose from may include:

• Science

• Art

• Karate

• Astronomy

• Creating Web sites

• Reading

• Drama

• Photography

• World cultures

• Designing computer games

• History

• Gymnastics

• Mathematics

• American culture

	Program Includes:
	• English classes • Camp activities with American children • Recreation activities such as swimming, hiking, sports and picnics • Trips to theme parks, museums, and indoor ice skating rink • A day with an American family	• All meals • On-campus housing • Full-time chaperones • Group photo • T-shirt • Certificate of participation • Farewell party
