Work at your own pace, in peaceful surroundings and in comfort. No time tables to follow, you select what time you study and where you study.

CCPE will mail a set of 15 VHS tapes and two complete manuals to your registration address. DVDs of revisions will also be sent as they are completed.

The manuals contain homework assignments, instructions and handouts.

A 90-hour work practicum must be completed during the course. The practicum must take place at a long term care facility, residential care facility, adult day care facility, or an assisted living facility.

The program instructor will help guide you through the course and answer any questions you have along the way.

You will mail or e-mail your homework to the program director.

Once homework has been accepted as complete, the program director will assist you in setting up an on-site testing location, where you will take a national test via proctor.

Once you have successfully completed the national test, homework assignments, and practicum, your Certificate of Completion will be mailed to you.
