Selection Process

Participants will be considered based on their interests, experience, and desire to become a more effective leader in the region. A selection committee weighs the applications and selects the best qualified class representing a cross-section of interests and geographic locations. The selection committee will consider demographics and diversity of the region to create broad representation of the 24 county region. Graduates of hometown leadership programs are welcomed and encouraged to participate in GOLD.
