American Sign Language  
     
 

ASL 201

 
Prerequisite: Successful completion of ASL 101 or permission from the instructor. In this class, you will learn words that signal differences between past, present, and future events; responses to emergency warnings; syntax and grammar points; and ways to make suggestions. In the second half of the course, you will learn to narrate life events; practice numbers, dates and addresses; describe things around you, trips, and weekend activities; and discover what it is like to live in a non-hearing world. ASL 2 Lab is required.
